We acknowledge the Kaartdijin Noongar people traditional owners of Country in of Southwest WA and their elder both past and present. In Nyungar the Austalian Ringneck is called Dowan (pronounced Dow’Awn) and Doomolo (pronounced Dorm’Awe’Lark)

 

In Western Australia the ringnecks are colloquially known as twenty-eights. This comes from the sound their calls make, ringing from the forests of the Southwest sounding like a whistled “twenty-eight”.

Alinta sits at 9cm long and 6cm tall and is made with VOC free stains and oils and sustainably sourced maple wood.
